2. What's a lease?

Leasing a beat gives the rights to record and distrubute your song according to the terms provided. When a lease is purchased, it will be immediately available to download. The beat will come in the highest quality 320kbps MP3 format with no tags. All purchased leased beats will come with a leasing contract which must be adhered to.

3. What are your leasing terms?

After purchase, the buyer earns the right to both non-profit (demos, etc.) use, as well as on one commercial, for-profit recording of up to 2,500 units. Read the full terms and agreement page.

4. How can I purchase a lease?

Use the integrated PayPal shopping cart on the page to add and purchase leased beats. The beat will be available to you for download immediately after purchase.

5. What are exclusive rights?

Exclusive rights grant you complete ownership and copyright of the beat. You will have the right to make unlimited recordings, distributions and alterations to the track. The one restriction is that you will not be able to resell the track to anyone else. Like leased purchases, all credit must be given to Sho Nuff Productions. Once a beat is sold exclusively, I will remove it for sale and only retain the preview.

6. How can I purchase exclusive rights to a beat?

Exclusive rights can be purchased either by clicking one of the links next to the beat and filling out the form, or by emailing shonuffproductions@gmail.com with inquiry. Exclusive rights purchases with range anywhere from $300 - $1000 and are negotiable.

7. Do you do custom beats?

Yes. Custom beats are never listed on the site because they are made specifically for the buyer only. custom tracks usually run $400. Email shonuffproductions@gmail.com for request.

8. Do you use samples? Who is responsible for clearing them?

I refrain from sampling in a lot of my beats, however, I do sample sometimes. The buyer will be responsible for clearing all samples and adhering to any sampling laws regarding usage of the track. My contract will not save you from having to clear samples! In my experience, you should be fine if you're putting out non-profit musice with them. Anything else...clear it!
